Ser Yoong is the CIO of Jewel Paymentech, where he is leading the company's cloud-first technology solutions and management. Jewel specializes in providing AI-driven end-to-end solutions for managing customers' risk, particularly in the financial services industry. Before that, he held positions in aviation, financial services as well as Big4 consultancy firms within the areas of technology risk and compliance. He also has experience operationalizing technology solutions in both SME and MNC environments, including securing high-volume periodic sales campaigns.
Having the privilege of being recognized as one of the top security leaders within the ASEAN region, Ser Yoong actively gives back to the community through volunteering. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for ISACA Malaysia Chapter. Being an active proponent of secure technology enablement through participation in conferences, mentoring, and local task forces, he also holds an MBA degree with professional certifications that includes CISA, CISM, CGEIT, CISSP, and CDPSE.
