Before Red Hat, Katie worked at a leading B2B Tech PR agency for over a decade, supporting technology clients through media relations, content and event support, social media, and more. This communications background ended up being the perfect experience for a role in community management. She learned how to build trust in professional relationships.
Katie lives in Raleigh, NC, with her husband, their adorable son, and Soup (dog) + Tuna (cat). She loves adding to her tiny jungle of plants, tasting and making cocktails & mocktails, and dancing whenever the opportunity presents itself. One of her unique talents is knowing the best things to order from a menu.
